In the Civil Hall Square you’ll find the weekly market which held on Fridays and Saturdays, an Elizabethan market held each Tuesday morning (May-September), when traders dress in Elizabethan period costumes and the Totnes Sunday Good Food Market held

Torquay with its mild climate, sandy beaches and Torbay palms is known as part of the English Riviera. It is the home town for the well known writer Agatha Christie who lived there during her early years.

It not only has sandy beaches for al the family to enjoy, it also has a model village at Babbacombe and art galleries and gardens at Torre Abbey. Torquay harbour offers shops, cafes and a marina. For those interested in wild life a visit to Living Coasts maybe on the agenda and for young dinosaur hunters, Dinosaur World. There are many other places to visit such as Kents Cavern, Bygones and Cockington Court to name a few.
